I'm a part of a group of creatives that meets monthly, called the Rising Tide Society. Within our St. Louis-specific Facebook group people will post about any number of things, including but not limited to recommendations for a makeup artist for a specific wedding date, a photographer needed for a styled shoot, even a balloon arch or a good food truck.
I'm not one to comment when a call for photographers is put out because (1) pressure (2) insecurity - but those are topics for a different blog post.
When Sarah posted in the group about wanting a photographer for a mother-daughter session when her mom would be in town in September, I was intrigued. Then I found out we had a mutual "friend" - none other than my Aunt!! At that point I threw caution to the wind and sent her a message! And now Sarah and her mom on the blog!
We spent the session walking around Forest Park, thankful the weather cooled down a bit, and taking in the first glimpse of fall! Ready for more fall sessions in the coming months!
